Blessings to Body of Christ,

Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

What’s in a name? When a child is being born, parents will often give careful consideration to the name of that precious boy or girl. Sometimes they are named after the father, mother, grandparent, or some other person of significance that will be in their life or have been in the life of the parent. It could be a name of honor for that child.

The fact is when we are named, the majority of us are not named without great thought or consideration. Have we ever thought about the meaning of our names or why we were named thus and so? If not, I would urge you to find out the meaning of your personal name and why you were named in that manner.

This passage gives us a wonderful insight to the Name of Christ the Redeemer. He was to be named with a very special name. As a matter of fact, the angel Gabriel told Mary that she was to name her child Jesus because he would save his people. In the book of Isaiah the prophecy goes forward that He is to be called Immanuel which in translation means “God with us”. How many different names can you think of that He is called throughout the scriptures? Do they fit His character, personality and demeanor?

I’m sure we can recall many names. Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Lamb of God, and the list goes on and on. Each giving us a different view into the life of the Christ. He would be and would fulfill each and every one of these names.

With all of this in mind, we should consider this scripture. There is no other name given among men by which we must be saved. There are not many ways to Yahweh (God) but only one and that is through Yeshuah (Jesus). He is salvation. Unfortunately many do not believe as we do and there is great division all over the world concerning this one particular subject.

Today I want to encourage us in this fact. Jesus the Christ, Messiah, Redeemer is our hope and SALVATION. He is the Light of the world and he lives inside of us. Now Go and let that Light shine in the darkness of this world.

My Prayer and Declaration:

“Father, we realize that Christ is the only Redeemer. His ways are our ways. We want to be more like Him than ever before. Truly there is no other name given by which we can be saved. We accept that salvation this day. In that HOLY Name Jesus (Yeshuah)….AMEN

Grace and Peace be yours
